Interior concept for Ayla, a fine dining restaurant for Chef Santosh. The design centres on a backlit mandala screen, with handcrafted wood, intricate rattan and bamboo textures worked through the joinery and ceiling.
Warm, low ambient light is used throughout, over traditional timber and pebble flooring, so the dining room reads as calm and unhurried rather than bright and busy.
